It’s A New Day In America

After four tremendous years of the Trump’s administration, Democratic President-elect Joe Bidden and Vice-President Kamala Harris were sworn into Office at the inauguration on the 20th of January 2021.

Harris is the first woman of color to be in Office and the first female Vice-President in the history of America breaking the long circle of male dominated power-holding. Biden is no stranger to the office as he was the vice-president to former President Barack Obama and on his first day, he has reinstated some orders the former President Trump got rid of, including The Paris Climate Agreement and trans military ban.

Biden has twitted from his new POTUS account that “there’s no time to waste when it comes to tackling the crises we face. That’s why today, I am heading to the Oval office to get right to work delivering bold action and immediate relief for American families” while the Vice-President simply twitted “Ready to serve”

The elections were filled with controversy and an unhappy former president, but the inauguration went smoothly with high-end performances from Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez.
